“Come See Augusta” at Chamber’s First Women In Business Luncheon of 2021
On Tuesday, January 19 at the Enterprise Mill Events Center, "Come See Augusta" like you haven't seen us before! The Augusta Metro Chamber is pleased to host Lindsay Fruchtl with the Augusta Convention & Visitors Bureau for the first Women In Business Luncheon of 2021. Lindsay will bring us an update on the Augusta CVB's new campaign and share insights into future projects on the horizon.
The Augusta Convention & Visitors Bureau recently launched its new destination marketing campaign, "Come See Augusta." This new campaign embodies the boldness, diversity and a youthfulness of this city, all while giving visitors the opportunity to live like a local.
Lindsay Fruchtl is the VP of Marketing for the Augusta Convention & Visitors Bureau (CVB) directing all marketing and communications, public relations, and advertising services for the organization and the destination. Prior to joining the Augusta CVB team, Lindsay worked as the Senior Marketing Manager with the Hilton Head Island-Bluffton Chamber of Commerce and Visitor & Convention Bureau (VCB) in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. From 2009-2013, Lindsay served as the Marketing Director for Visit Tybee on Tybee Island, Georgia. In 2013 she was selected as one of Generation NEXT Savannah’s Rising Stars in Business and has her Travel Marketing Professional (TMP) certification from the Southeast Tourism Society. She is a graduate of Leadership Augusta and serves on the Board of Directors for the Georgia Association of Convention & Visitors Bureau, the Classic South Travel Association, and American Advertising Federation’s Augusta Chapter. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications from Brenau Women’s College in Gainesville, Georgia.
Both in-person and virtual attendance options are available. Seating will be social distanced at the Enterprise Mill Events Center and a box lunch is included. The luncheon begins at 11:30 am. In-person tickets are $25 for Chamber members and $35 for prospective members. Virtual attendance is $10 for Chamber members, $15 for prospective members and includes a $5 Solé gift card.
