Member Compass 101
Each tutorial video provides a live demonstration of the many features our website and platform provides members for maximing visiblity online and easy, efficient membership account management.
Logging In (00:10, video quick jump)
- From the top menu or Membership tab, Login: Member Compass, use your email and password to login
Create your Account (00:45, video quick jump)
- Enter your email address and create a password
- If your email is already in the system it will request you Verify, follow the prompts to complete creating your account

- View open and paid transactions for your event registrations

- Management Access (see below) – company-wide view of transactions, including dues, events and sponsorship

- Management Access provides the ability to add or remove staff, view all dues and event transactions for the company or organization and pay those online, view company-wide event registrations, and update the company profile for the online Directory Listing.
- Individuals who are Primary Contact will automatically have Management Access
- If you are the account manager, you can grant Management Access to others (that capability is under the Staff tab, which we’ll review in a moment)
- Or it can be granted by chamber staff, but for your security and because of the permissions this access has, we ask that the request come from the Primary Contact requesting access be granted to additional staff member
- Staff (management access only)
- Edit staff profiles – add headshot, change job title, etc.
- Add or Remove staff
- Grant or remove management access to others

- Update Employee count, Add optional information if so choose, Change contact information
- Billing Address is address to receive business related communication
- Shipping Address is your physical location
- This shows on your Directory Listing with a map
- Marketing Information
- Facebook and Twitter feed show in your online Directory Listing; Linked In is linked on your company profile
- **MEMBER TIP** Build out your marketing information to create a robust Directory Listing and utilize as a landing page for your company.

- Sponsorship Opportunities tab – a review of opportunities to partner with the Chamber in a unique way that builds your company’s visibility and reaches your target market audience

Events Calendar (01:38, video quick jump)
- Events calendar can viewed as a List of Upcoming Events listed chronologically or Calendar View (“View Calendar” button)
- To view more details on any event of interest, click the event from the list or calendar to link to the details page

- The details section provides more information on the program, speaker and sponors
- The event contact provides quick links to email or call with further questions
- The event header has unique features to “View Map” of the venue location or “Add to Calendar”
- Note: Adding to your calendar does not register you to attend, you must follow the “Registrations Options” link to Register

- To register, from the Events Detail page, click “Registration Options”
- Log in to unlock Member and Cornerstone tickets and to purchase/reserve tickets at the member rate.
- Input the number of tickets you liked to purchase or register, and the Ticket automatically appears to add attendee name(s)
- For attendee name, the drop down menu allows you to quickly select yourself or any members of your staff.
- If the name does not show in the list, this means they have not yet been added to the Company Profile. You can still register them - simply type in their name and fill in their contact information.
- For attendee name, the drop down menu allows you to quickly select yourself or any members of your staff.
- A confirmation email will be sent
- If registering for others, both purchaser and the attendee will receive a confirmation email
- Complete registration either by paying online with credit card, or requesting an invoice.
Homepage
- Quickly view upcoming events and latest news from the Chamber
- Cornerstone Investors (00:30, video quick jump)
- Partnership and Sustaining Level Cornerstone members can be viewed by clicking on the button link to a listing of these members (each listing links to the company Directory listing)
- President’s Level Cornerstone members have their logo displayed on the scrolling ribbon
- The logos are links to each company Directory listing.
- Additional information videos, resources and link to sign up for our weekly newsletter can be found at the bottom of the homepage
