Apply today to be a part of the Leadership Augusta Class of 2019
Applications are now being accepted for the 2019 Leadership Augusta adult class, which runs from August 2018 through May 2019. Participants have the opportunity to develop leadership skills, foster understanding of major issues facing the region, network among community leaders, and directly contribute through voluntary participation in civic activities.
Applications are available at www.LeadershipAugustaGA.com and must be submitted no later than close of business on Friday, March 30, 2018. Please mail or hand-deliver completed application package to:

In addition to gaining awareness and understanding of the issues and challenges facing the region, participants can:
- Refine their personal and public leadership style and skills
- Develop diverse contacts and an excellent communication network
- Receive recognition for themselves and their organization for their voluntary civic activities
- Access better opportunities for taking an active role in addressing community needs
Completed applications received by submission date will be reviewed and a select number of applicants will be interviewed for the program.
Leadership Augusta was established in 1980, as an affiliate of the Augusta Metro Chamber of Commerce. Its mission is to inform and inspire existing and emerging leaders of the greater Augusta area to build a stronger community. Further, to enhance the civic participation of emerging leaders within the region. Participants of all ages, professions and educational backgrounds have the opportunity each month to meet, learn and train to be informed leaders in the community.
