Hear How Carole Fabrics is “Creating an Inclusive Culture that Delivers to the Community” at Augusta Metro Chamber’s Virtual Women In Business, October 20

Join the Augusta Metro Chamber Tuesday, October 20 for an enlightening virtual Women In Business session as Frank Andrew, President of Carole Fabrics, introduces three of the female leaders on the production team at Carole to offer their perspective on the established culture change within the manufacturing world.  Maria Rhinehart, Senior Manager of Merchandising and Marketing, Rashieda Murphy, Quality Manager, and Donna Gohagan, Senior Director of Customer Experience will share the opportunities for women currently in manufacturing, deliver insight into what and who Carole Fabrics is, and what they provide to our community as a hidden gem to the city of Augusta.

Over the past couple of months, Frank's team at Carole pivoted their production focus to help stem the spread of Covid-19 in our area. What started out as a small side project to provide masks to first responders, has now grown to include businesses, individuals, law enforcement and others in need around the CSRA and beyond. To date, Carole has made nearly 15,000 masks, with output growing daily.

Maria started her career in residential and small commercial interior design.  In 2014, she joined the Carole team and leads the Merchandising and Marketing departments.  Maria works with fabric mills all over the world to create and find fabrics that work for both the customer and manufacturing operation.

Rashieda has over 15 years of quality engineering and management experience.  Prior to joining Carole in 2018, Rashieda worked at John Deere where she was a production supervisor and the process quality engineer for Factory Master Plan.  Today, Rashieda is building a quality assurance system for Carole from the ground up.

Donna has over 30 years’ experience with customer facing roles in manufacturing and customer care.  Her focus has been on developing customer service teams focusing on skills, product training, and systems integrations.  Donna joined Carole in 2019 to lead the customer care teams and serves as the operations liaison between Carole and their largest national accounts.
