Chamber Welcomes New Membership Growth Manager

The Augusta Metro Chamber of Commerce is pleased to welcome the newest member of the Chamber team James Allen, Membership Growth Manager. James was most recently the Community Business Development Manager for Barnes & Nobel in Augusta, Georgia. With five years of management experience in community business development and 9 years of customer service experience in the retail industry, James brings a talent for communication, business development and customer service to the Member Growth Manager position.

As the Membership Growth Manager, James will contact prospective members for the purpose of membership recruitment for the Augusta Metro Chamber of Commerce. The focus of this position is small businesses, growing the grassroots participation, and maintaining knowledge of Chamber programs with a strong community awareness to effectively engage prospective members. 

James began his new role with the Chamber on March 5, 2018. The Augusta Metro Chamber of Commerce is the largest business membership organization in the CSRA. Membership is open to all businesses and organizations interested in enhancing the overall growth of the Augusta Region as well as investing in a multitude of opportunities that will maximize their growth and opportunity.
