Reflection & Direction: Developing a Long-Term Strategic Plan
As 2019 comes to a close, and we see 2020 ahead, take time to put benchmarks in place for assessing your current progress and setting a course for the future. Make this the year to establish, or re-establish, your business goals. What does it take to have a strategic plan?
Join the Augusta Metro Chamber and Comcast Business for a presentation by the UGA Small Business Development Center (SBDC) to discuss the development of your business’s five-year strategic plan. Ideas are the beginning, strategic implementation is the key and balance should always be part of your plan. This seminar will reflect on and direct your business to success during discussion of the following:
- Do know where your business stands, in relation to your goals?
- How did you get here? – the good, the bad, the ugly
- Is this where you want your business to be?
- How do we get where we want to be?
Guest Speaker:
Rebecca Kruckow, Program Coordinator for the UGA SBDC, leads and coordinates classes on various topics including entrepreneurship, starting a business, business planning, and she works with others to develop presentations for various small business entities to promote growth and development. Prior, Rebecca owned and operated her own retail business, and she continues involvement in agriculture through family farm operations in the Midwest. She believes that attitude, flexibility, and a sense of humor are keys to success in business and in life.
