Is Your Company a Sitting Duck for Cyber Criminals?

Don’t think your business has cyber risk because you’re “small” and not a big target like Equifax or Colonial Pipeline? Think again. Half of the THOUSANDS of cyber threats released every single day are aimed at small and medium businesses. You don’t hear about them because it’s kept quiet for fear of attracting bad PR, lawsuits, data-breach fines, and sheer fear of embarrassment. In fact, the National Cyber Security Alliance reports: one in five small businesses have been victims of cyber crimes in the last year – and that number is growing rapidly as more businesses utilize cloud computing, mobile devices, and store more information online. In reality most small and medium sized businesses are “low hanging fruit” due to their lack of adequate security systems.

At the September Third Thursday Business Builder, the cyber experts at IntelliSystems help you assess your company’s cyber risk and what to do about it. Necessary cyber security assessment ingredients, whether it’s done annually, semi-annually, or quarterly. Properly minimizing cyber risk with your business technology by exercising the proper due care, so that cyber insurance will actually pay off in the event of catastrophe. Learn the details of how cyber insurance fits into your business’ cyber protection.
