W. James Allen - Director of Member Engagement
James Allen is the Director of Member Engagement for the Augusta Metro Chamber of Commerce with over 13 years of management experience. James is currently attending the Institute for Organizational Management (IOM), and will complete his IOM training in 2024. He is a graduate of Leadership Augusta 2021, and is a recognized Sales Professional by the ACCE’s Membership Development Division Circle of Champions as of 2022.
James Allen is dedicated to the goal of building networks and community development. He volunteers as the Vice President for Young Professionals of Augusta to further their mission in providing professional development, networking, and community outreach opportunities for 200 young professionals in the Augusta/CSRA. In 2020, he was recognized as Board Member of the Year for his dedication to the mission, and he has assisted the organization in raising over $30,000 for non-profit organizations.
In his free time, James Allen enjoys Table Top Board Games. He is the Founder & Organizer for D&D Adventurers League of the Augusta/CSRA, and organizes 50-75 tables of board games a month for his members with the purpose of hosting bi-annual charity events. Through his leadership, he continues to serve Augusta, and has raised over $25,000 for local non-profits.
Overall, James Allen is a dedicated individual who is committed to his community. His experience, skills, and accomplishments make him an asset to any organization.
