2020 Augusta-Richmond County Candidate Forums

The Augusta Metro Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with WFXG-TV FOX 54, will be holding candidate forums for the Augusta-Richmond County Commission District 1, District 3 and District 9 races June 2^nd, 3^rd and 4^th, 2020. The candidate forums, sponsored by Sherman & Hemstreet Real Estate Company, will be available for viewing via livestream on wfxg.com and also available via the Augusta Metro Chamber and WFXG-TV FOX 54 social channels.

The forums will be led by moderator Jay Jefferies, Meteorologist for the WFXG-TV Fox 54 Weather Team, with questions from Chamber members, local leaders and members of the community. Questions must be submitted ahead of time. Question submission opened Monday, May 25 and will close on Sunday, May 31.

The goal of these forums is to allow voters an opportunity to hear from local candidates and head to the poll as informed voters. Advanced voting is already underway, and election day is Tuesday, June 9, 2020.
